Cambridge Literary Winter Festival approaches

A feast of literary treats awaits at the Cambridge Literary Winter Festival from 17-20 November, which was founded by Newnham Alumna, Cathy Moore.

Authors and speakers include George Monbiot speaking about how to feed the world without devouring the planet, Kamila Shamsie introducing her new novel Best of Friends, Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain presenting a new recipe book, historian Malcolm Gaskill introducing his fascinating new book about witch hunts, Miranda Seymour giving an insight into the haunted life of Jean Rhys, and more. The Festival also includes an event with Newnham alumna Margaret Drabble (pictured above).

Treats also include a Literary Lunch and Literary Soirée, hosted by writer and critic Alex Clark. Concession tickets are available for under 25s, the unwaged and those feeling the pinch. Explore the full line-up.
