Cambridge Literary Festival features Newnham alumnae this Spring

Booking is now open for the annual Cambridge Literary Festival and this year there are several speakers with strong links to Newnham.

Former Principal of Newnham, Dame Carol Black, will be chairing Nobel Prize-winning molecular biologist and former president of the Royal Society, Venki Ramikrishnan, for an event on his new book Why We Die. At 6pm, Thursday 21 March, University Arms Hotel.

Television broadcaster Honorary Fellow Clare Balding CBE presents her new book Isle of Dogs, which explores the history of dogs in Britain at 12pm, Sunday 21 April
TTP Stage (Cambridge Union).

Iconic novelist and biographer Dame Margaret Drabble will give a retrospective on her life in writing at 4pm, Sunday 21 April, on the TTP Stage (Cambridge Union).
