Newnham College is a charming location for both indoor and outdoor weddings, with elegant, beautiful ceremony and dining rooms. Our extensive, pretty gardens and buildings make a stunning backdrop for photographs, drinks receptions and, from 2023, ceremonies.
Your wedding breakfast can be held in the romantic Grade II* listed Clough Hall, Newnham College’s main Hall. Part of the buildings designed by architect Basil Champneys in 1875, light pours in through the tall windows, highlighting the stunning ceiling and surroundings.
The Iris Cafe/Bar is an ideal space for your wedding reception and has immediate outside access. The room will be cleared of all cafe tables to create a spacious dance floor with room for a DJ/band. Occasional seating is still available in the alcoves and we can set up evening catering here too.
