Veronica Crichton Presentation Skills course

The course is moving online for 2020 but will still compromise two sessions. The first will be a ‘get to know you session’ – important to ensure you feel comfortable – on Saturday October 24 from 5pm – 7pm, with the main training taking place on Sunday October 25 from 9am – 5pm. Students are videoed giving their own short presentation and receive feedback and constructive comments from both other attendees and the trainers.

For more information please contact the Tutorial & Admissions Office.

Feedback has included:

…. I have come away feeling more confident and really enjoyed the whole day!

The course gave me encouragement and confidence as well as pointing out my bad habits which I hope to change.

The change in my presentation skills is amazing, within such a few hours.

Veronica Crichton went up to Newnham College in 1968. She died in 2002, aged 53, after a highly successful career as a respected communications advisor. She had trained leading figures in local government, academia and many prominent political figures in presentation skills. Veronica felt strongly that women should play a full role in all aspects of public life and should be able to communicate clearly and effectively with audiences, colleagues and clients.
