Timos graduated in 2002 from the University of Patras, Greece, with a Diploma in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering. He then received his PhD in 2006 from the University of Cambridge on Computational Engineering Design, and recently received his Professional Certificate on Systems Engineering from MIT (2017). Currently, he is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Engineering in Cambridge and a Fellow at Homerton College, where he is a Tutor and Director of Studies in PIB Engineering. Timos is also a part-time Lecturer in Cranfield University on Computational Engineering Design Optimisation, where he supervises MSc and PhD projects.
Timos is currently working on multi-physics optimisation methods, change propagation in engineering design, value driven design, interactive computational design, and multidimensional engineering date visualization combining machine-learning techniques.
