Ms Karla Boxall
- Special Supervisor in Geography
Karla Boxall read a BA in Geography and an MPhil in Polar Studies at Newnham College before beginning a PhD in Polar Studies based at the Scott Polar Institute, University of Cambridge. Karla is now a Special Supervisor at Newnham alongside completing her PhD research.
Karla’s current research interest focuses on the Antarctic Ice Sheet and its ongoing response to climate change. Karla uses satellite remote sensing to observe the varying rates of flow of floating ice shelves and their surrounding glaciers, over a range of timescales.
