Biography
Dr Carol Cooper is a doctor, author, and educator.
After graduating in medicine from Newnham College, Dr Cooper combined media work with general practice alongside teaching at Imperial College Medical School, London. She writes on child health, general practice, and the history of medicine. She is also the author of several novels.
Her latest book is The History of Medicine in Twelve Objects. In 2014 she was elected President of the Guild of Health Writers.
Dr Cooper has been an Associate of Newnham College since 2015.
