We were delighted by the response to our student photography competition last term. Your photos captured the joy of being a student at Newnham including the friendships, and the beautiful surroundings in which to work in the gardens and Iris Cafe. They also showed some of what makes Newnham so special including the activities and cultural events on offer, and nodded to our history pioneering higher education for women.
With such wonderful entries it was difficult to choose a winner. However, we felt Vanessa Lui submitted an excellent portfolio including this lovely image (above) of students studying in the Newnham College gardens. Congratulations to Vanessa who is our winner for Michaelmas Term.
We were so pleased with the response that we are reopening the competition for Lent Term, when you can again have a chance to win £25 credit for the café. This term we are particularly looking for images of students studying or enjoying a diverse range of clubs and activities.
