Newnham’s first Giving Day is taking place on 16 – 17 May 2022, raising money for three projects with a focus on sustainability.
We’re working to support the green engineers of the future, to reduce the College’s impact on the environment and to enhance biodiversity in our famous gardens. Find out more about the three key project areas by visiting https://newnham.givingday.co.uk/.
Alongside fundraising, we’ve got a range of challenges and activities to bring people together. Join us in the Porters’ Lodge to cycle a mile in our cycling challenge, log new observations on the Newnham College iNaturalists’ project, or eat a plant-inspired treat at the Iris Cafe.
The Permaculture Garden will be hosting a Seedling Swap and between noon and 3.00pm on Tuesday 17 May, and everyone’s welcome to join us for a cup of College-grown herbal tea.
