Broadcaster Joan Bakewell received this year’s Sandford St Martin Trustees’ Award at Lambeth Palace to mark her ‘outstanding commitment to religious and ethical broadcasting’ over six decades.
Professor Mary Beard, Newnham Fellow and friend of Bakewell’s, presented Baroness Joan Bakewell (NC 1951) with her award on June 8.
