Incorporated into the new Dorothy Garrod Building in 2018, Fawcett has retained its 19th century façade. It is located just to the west of the Dorothy Garrod Building and the Porters’ Lodge.
Fawcett has 19 bedrooms, in two households, over the first and second floors. All the bedrooms have a built-in wardrobe and a sink. The first floor has a household of ten rooms and the second floor a household of nine rooms. Each household shares a large kitchen and social space and a bathroom block with showers and toilets. Some of the rooms overlook the café/bar courtyard area where events are sometimes held. The rooms have good soundproofing but sometimes there can be noise from the café/bar below.
