Campaign Celebration event - Newnham College, Cambridge

Principal Alison Rose (NC 1980) and members of the Development team will host a series of celebration events this spring around the country and online around the globe, to reflect on the success of the 'Shaping Newnham's Future' fundraising campaign, which to date, and with your help has raised over £26.46 million for College.

At Newnham, Alison will be joined by one of our academics, Associate Professor of Classics and Onassis Classics Fellow Dr Shushma Malik who will giving a talk entitled A (Roman) Empire of Citizens. Shushma's role is supported by money raised during the Changing Lives and Shaping Newnham's Future Campaigns. There will be live music from Newnham student, flautist Teodora Sion and a chance to tour the Kennedy Building before its renovation with Bursar, Chris Lawrence and Domestic Bursar, Wendy Evans. There will be a selection of canapés and drinks, along with time to reconnect with fellow members of the Newnham community, make new connections, and celebrate our shared achievements.
