Alumnae Benefits

As a Roll Member you are still very much a part of the College community. You can enjoy a wide range of benefits.

Current privileges include:
  • Receive the annual Roll Letter in the post after graduation.
  • Invitations to reunions, garden parties, concerts and other special events throughout the year.
  • You have access to networking events, ready-made contacts around the world and help from other Newnhamites.
  • Receive the monthly ‘News from Newnham’ newsletter. If you would like to share some news with us please email us at
  • Dine-in College three times a year at both Formal Halls and Subject Formal Halls (on payment and notice, with up to three paying guests).
  • Should you like to stay with us, alumnae receives a 10% discount on Bed and Breakfast in double or single occupancy en suite bedrooms (out of term), you can also hire meeting rooms and catering (all year). Bookings can be made by emailing or call on 01223 335803.
  • Join regional groups around the country and international groups that offer support and networking opportunities.
  • Newnham Associates may be able to help with career advice and support or you may apply to become a Newnham Associate. All alumnae are eligible to make an application. New Associates are elected at the AGM every November. To find out more about how to apply read the information on our website.
  • Visit the Library after Graduation (with prior notice to the Librarian).
  • The Roll Committee is a group of volunteers, elected by members of the Roll, who meet to organise activities to keep members in touch with one another and with College. Part of your benefits allow you to stand for the Committee. If you’d like to join us in shaping alumnae activities, why not put your name forward for the Roll Committee?
